BFEG Africa Theatre Play is being organised by Nollywood Entertainment Studio firm Director Jason in celebration of the Africa Masquerade Festival and this is open to anyone from the age of 5yrs and above . Africa drama as the name implies,is any drama that embodies the yearnings, experiences and the sensibility of the african people. This could be written by an african or a non african but it most picture the experience of the people and their environment.

The Africa TheatrePlay consist of storytelling, dance, and ritual are three early forms of African theatrical practices. While these types of performances may seem different from theatre, they each include the same basic elements: Performance spaces

African drama and theatre was created on the basis of historical and traditional forms of art. There were sacramental performances, dramatized stories, modern combinations of theatre scenario which characterized by a traditional technique of performance.

Some elements of traditional African drama which have been adapted to literature and film include, songs and dances, mask and masquerades, proverbs, idioms and other aspects of language, history and myth, festivals and several others that we shall discuss during audition.

African traditional theater is a group activity, often without boundaries between creators, performers, and audience. Unlike modern plays, traditional rituals and tales are not written by individual playwrights.

Those who are successful in the audition will be given a certificate at end of the theatre play. Also we refreshment during audition and travelled expense for those chosen to perform at event to celebrate the Africa Masquerade Festival.
