Africa Festival Greenwich Launch is celebrated every year by BFEG to show the cultural heritage and diversity of African community in Royal borough of Greenwich to celebrate the upcoming celebration of Africa month in May , June & July and the important of Africa Day celebration on 25th May.

Africa Festival Greenwich
Africa Day (formerly African Freedom Day and African Liberation Day) is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the Organisation of African Unity on 25 May 1963. It is celebrated in various countries on the African continent, as well as around the world.
BFEG celebration of Africa Festival is in commemoration of the Africa Month in May and our celebration showcase the best of African cultural heritage and the contributions and achievement of Africans in diaspora and Africa as continent to the world. This events run from May- July every year with range of activities, events and cultural exhibitions of Food, dance, education workshop, Arts & Artefact, cooking show, fashion, craft workshop, drumming, theatre art, poem & poetry, story telling , music and many more.
during the launch of Africa Festival participants and stakeholders are given the opportunity to ask questions about the events and how they can be part of the celebration either as sponsors or volunteers.
Also there will be range of entertainment, dance , African History Presentation, music , Food artists performance, Live DJ , Game, Tapestry displays and many more.
